Yay i've just recieved a cheque i've been waiting for for ages from home of research for £21 so that'll go towards my o/d. So thats £31 extra paid off my debt this week. Now that makes me feel good:D

Tashja - unfortunately the rhubarb & custard sweets didn't taste of

Here's my " good and naughty " for today !

The Good - Got the £100 cashback from the post office ... and paid
the WHOLE amount off some arrears !! .... am feeling very proud
of myself !!

£2 added to my pot ( grand total of £57 ).

The Bad - but only bad weight wise :rotfl: .. today ... not money wise ...
Yes you've guessed it ..... sweeties !! Well actually todays " goody " is a terry's chocolate orange .... A very kind customer bought it into work for me today ... Only 2 problems with this ...
1. i've eaten 3/4 of it while typing this !
2. i'll have to be nice and smile sweetly at the miserable old begger for the next couple of weeks :rolleyes: :rotfl: ... I'm not normally this ungrateful .... honest !!

Phew! I couldn't get online yesterday so have had to read about 4 pages to catch up!

There's so much good news from new grandchildren (Congrats Greenbynature) to people clearing more credit card debts (go Purpleposting!) to lots more newcomers -WELCOME :hello:

I've paid £1 to the evil loan and Barclays overdraft, plus i've added 2 x £2 coins to pot. I'm waiting for money from hubby to go into bank so will pay a little extra tomorrow.

I've also found out the post office will add a £10 bonus to my Christmas savings card on Saturday so i'll have £70 on there. This will nearly pay for our son's DS for Christmas - i'm so excited :j

We all deserve a big pat on the back. I'm so glad i'm part of this thread
