So glad I can start this up again now. After working like a trooper over the weekend I managed to put a fair bit into my bank account today so my overdraft is now down to £21.30 :T I'm working even more hours at work this week than I was last week so hopefully by tuesday of next week (or as soon as I make it to the bank) it'll be gone completely and I can get started seriously on the Credit Card again.
I received a cheque from Orange today for £2 (!!!) so I'm going to use that as my first payment for today towards the overdraft/credit card fund... anything left over the overdraft limit i'll whack off the credit card next week.
Off to update the signature ...0 -
I paid off £241.80 to Egg today, meaning I have paid off that credit card totally.
Which in turn means I (theoretically) have £240ish to save/spend elsewhere each month."I have enough money to last me the rest of my life, unless I buy something."0 -

Tashja - have you tried 'slicethepie.com' there's a thread on here on Up Your Income - you get paid to listen to music and write a 3-4 line review on it. I think you start at 3p/review but it goes up over time and you get paid into paypal so that might help. In fact the Up Your Income thread generally might help give you some ideas.
Back on topic - congrats tsharp on getting rid of you CC and congrats to Grandma Greenbynature on the arrival of baby Sophie.LD 12.25 £1600.00/£0700.00 Fn £274.00 LTFn £525 LLTFn £300

Hi Everyone
Late checking in today been out all day doing a very miserable task of clearing someone's house who died an old boss of mine horrible job taken 8 months so far and just started on his adjoining property today which is piled high  still my DS and a friend came to help:beer: whilst DH and DD babysat the troops.
There are such a lot of people on this thread now by the time I read all the posts I had forgotten how much I had paid todayanyway have checked and it is £16.57 to HSBC. A bit annoyed today as 2 payments 1 due last Sunday and 1 due Monday (DH Tax Rebate) are still not in our bank account too late to chase them up today but task for first thing in the morning:rolleyes:
Congratulations Greenbynature wonderful news I just love babies:happyhear

Hello everybody, congratulations to Greenbynature on the birth of Sophie :j
Haven't been around since I spilt a cup of tea on the laptop...............................but after paying the princely sum of £25, lappy is working...........................so much better than before! Best £25 I have had to spend it a while.
Have still been making a payment a day, have now got £5.62 towards Tesco debt. After Xmas I'm gonna be so careful, snowballing my debts at this rate will take 5 years!! so am gonna try and pay even more than now. (she says hopefully)
Hope you all have a good evening.KEEP CALM AND keep taking the tablets :cool2:0 -
A £2 coin into the jar for me today but I took £8 out:eek: I took the kids to an indoor play place today as it was raining and we needed to get out of the house. So at least it was money well spent. Hopefully they will both sleep well and early tonight and I can curl up in bed with a dvd;)100 Day Pot £13

Tashja, I was going to join the £10 a day thread but then decided against it A) because its so manic round here at the moment, and
because I know I will panic if I cant do it and get all worked up - good luck with it though!
Anyone due any money from Quidco this month? Im scheduled £19.23 which is going straight on debts.
Have also reduced my Cap 1 limit by £50, am going to keep reducing it as I get cleared funds, that way I wont have the temptation of spending.Moving on upSPC #382 ~ £40 banked
