    afternoon everyone :D

Can I just ask too, I have an RBS loan and I would quite like to make payments to that too, I have a sort code and account number for this, how will they be about me making extra payments  will it muck up my monthly payments

    thanks
if your loan is 'fixed' then you won't be able to make additional payments - it breaks the credit agreement and they'd be able to ask for full settlement - check your terms and conditions

I think there may be trouble ahead as Barclays have not accpeted my online payment from Natwest either  Think i'll have to visit branch. I really don't need anymore hassle at the moment. Me and Barclays have not been friends since last year and it doesn't look like we'll be reconciling anytime soon ;)

Sent £2.44 to Egg loan instead to round it down.

    Don't hate me - i work for barclays:o .

They've got a brand, spanking, all singing, all dancing loan system that has totally mucked up most systems internally for a couple of days now - loan account numbers are being changed their sort codes all start with 23 now and i think the account number is completely different not sure though - everyone is getting letters with their new details so they can change payment details if necessary - this is probably what has caused your problems

Hey all, in my forth week of this :)

Paid in $1 today, makes total $33.70

Was thinking next year I could have a savings account just for a payment a day and put it towards xmas. Would add up over the year...and would be more exciting anyway...

thanks for the info :) i will have a look at the documents, thanks again :)

what you could do, if you're not allowed to make overpayments, is open up a separate savings account and put your loan overpayments in there and once the 2 accounts are the same amount do a full settlement. hth

    £1 to hsbc.

    see you tomorrow x

    Hi gtx - i don't hate you!

Thank you for that info, i hope that that is the case. I think i need to start tackling this anyway. They've not been in touch since May, which is very wierd for any bank, especially them given all the time they used to spend harrassing me til i changed my number!

£10 to gas bill £20 left. Received the threatening letter yest, but will pay rest when hubby pays me tomorrow. Has anyone ever reclaimed charges from British Gas and the like?

Have put my evil loan payment in savings - £1.50 and paid £5 to cap 1.

Phew! That's it for now :p
One step at a time ;)
