A payment a day............

afternoon everyone
ive made a payment of £1 each to both my tesco cc and my simplybe acc. Ive been making payments every day, but I havent written on the thread, I made £3 to each on sun £2 on monday, I know its only £5 to each but it wouldnt have been anything if I hadnt found this thread
I will make the minimum payment to each when I get paid on fri, and continue with the payment a day, I have set up a spreadsheet to keep a track of what I am paying off.
Can I just ask too, I have an RBS loan and I would quite like to make payments to that too, I have a sort code and account number for this, how will they be about me making extra paymentswill it muck up my monthly payments

As i have a good credit rating the CC companies give me massive (in my opinion) credit limits. My current one is £7,400
And the problem is that in the past I have just thought 'what the hell!'
Im exactly the same. I have a CC with Halifax, who wrote to me a few days ago to say they are putting my limit up to £10950  - Luckily I dont use it, and rang them a few months ago to tell them I had lost the card, and asked that they didnt send another otherwise I know I would have gone crazy under my old 'live for today' attitude ~ thats all changed since I found this site thank goodness!Moving on upSPC #382 ~ £40 banked

Afternoon all!
Just £1 for me today.
Will not be able to make any payments for the next week as I am off on holiday tomorrow but hope to have some spending money left over to be able to put towards this challenge.
Hope everyone has a good week.Pay off all your debt by Xmas 2012Aim £8200Total so far £3700Left £45000 -
Can I join in please, as I desperately need to clear myself of debts as they are slowly getting to me. Ok not a lot compared to some people but when I am only on IB and DLA, and Dh has refused point blank to help me anymore, it's a big deal. Plus I don't really want to tell Dh the extent of debts as he will go ballistic - we've been through this before about 4 times since my first breakdown in 1994Mortgage Free as of 20.9.17Declutter challenge 2023, 2024 🏅 🏅⭐️⭐️

Oh gods I just used the snowballing calculator and according to the calculations on their, at the rate I am paying them now, I won't be debt free till 2068 with the final bill, which is Simplybe, blimey I'll be dead before then.
I think I am going to have to do some rejigging around now I have just made myself feel rather down
Ok just rejigged and finally got a reasonable year, I forgot to put the interest being frozen..doh!!
So now I am going to be debt free in 2011 according to the snowballing effect..phew that's not so bad.Mortgage Free as of 20.9.17Declutter challenge 2023, 2024 🏅 🏅⭐️⭐️

Hello Natty68 - welcome to the most addictive thread on the whole forum (IMO!) Im the same - I dont want my DH to know the extent of my debts either as he will go mad so its a firmly kept secret. Luckily we are completely seperate financially. My spending spiralled out of control after suffering PND with my second son, so im hoping this thread will keep me on the straight and narrow now that I have had my third baby. - so I totally know how you feel.

Thank you!
I'm sure I will, first time in 10 years with no kids. The idea sounded great at the time but now I feel really really guilty for leaving them!:oPay off all your debt by Xmas 2012Aim £8200Total so far £3700Left £45000 -

My branch is Carlisle and it is a main branch ie. in the centre of town (city) but not particularly huge.
I'm really sorry that there aren't more of these out there but hopefully its a programme that they are rolling out across the country. There must be loads of MSErs wanting to use the service to say nothing of all those school fairs, shops etc.
I'm going in there tomorrow as I've been rooting round in old handbags and coat pockets and have another £11 (hurrah) to deposit.
I will ask:
- whether these are going in all/main branches
- whether you can use a credit card instead of a debit card for the pennies to be credited to
- let me know if there are any other questions.LD 12.25 £1600.00/£0700.00 Fn £274.00 LTFn £525 LLTFn £300

Where are you going?
I'm going to my high school reunion in Maine, USA. I did my senior year of high school there, (kinda like an exchange student)
I'm going for a whole week, no husband, no kids.
