Can i ask, what sort of stuff do people sell on ebay?

I sell mainly clothes - stuff I dont wear anymore. Im lucky that I wear petite trousers, they seem to go really well. Also Childrens clothes, especially Next. Ive sold handbags and shoes too.

The best money I have made was on some old Playstation 2 games. I had 20 altogether and managed to make enough to half pay for DS1's Wii for Christmas.(the other half came from my coin jar so felt very pleased with myself!)
    Moving on up :o SPC #382 ~ £40 banked
    12k in 2016 #15. £541.91/£3000

Thank you for that. I will have to see what games hubby doesn't want - there must be loads! My DS would love a Wii so that's good motivation - thank you!

I have just put some books on amazon as a starter.

Hope you're managing to get some sleep with DS2 x

What a genius idea! I've been worrying about how to overpay without seriously damaging my budget but if I make even a small payment daily, It'll soon add up! :) I'm some off to pay some off my Barclaycard now! :)

Right, that's £5.65 paid! Does it count as a payment if you are paying your minimum payment that day or is it only the over payments that count? Just thought I'd check the rules! :)

Hi everyone i've only just stumbled across this thread n i think its a brill idea, could i join in please?
I'm currently doing the pay a debt by xmas challenge but feel like i'm banging my head against a brick wall. I'm currently trying to repay my o/d, visa and catalogue. Was making headway with o/d then southern electric have just sent me letter telling me i owe them £93:mad: and my catalogue have just increased my min payment to £200:eek: (was £120ish so must of had a bnpl added on!) Also visa were late applying for payment from tesco in sept so when i thought i'd cleared that one its back up to £73:mad:
As my o/d has lower intrest rate im clearing £73 with that n have no choice but to pay southern electric and catalogue.
I've just claimed some cashback money n have some more on the way soon (thank god). Not sure how much i'll be able to put away each day. Gonna aim for a £1 then at the end of every month i can add £30 to my o/d till its clear. this could take a while:o. Have just counted up my saving jar and have £6.50 in 50ps £6.60 in 20ps and £1.50 in 10ps. My bank wont let me pay in till bags are correct amount tho so will continue adding every day till i can pay into o/d.

Hi Laura and Nickynoo good to see you both.

Laura - every payment counts in my book as it all reduces the balance. Add an extra 50p to your minimum though if it makes you feel better!! It's the additional PaD (Payment a Day) that will make you feel good. You can also collect loose change and when that adds up use to make an extra payment.

Nickynoo - so many can relate to your post, including me. I'm having one of those times when things are turning up out of the blue and not quite going to plan. These days it just makes me more determined to get sorted.

    Good luck both

    big payment today:j £46.28:j
As I said before OH had a good week and some of his payments were in cash.. used cash for shopping at Tesco so paying the money I would have spent straight off Mint..if you get what I mean.
Welcome to all newcomers... as MrT says 'every little helps' and a pound a day is great. The sooner it's paid in the sooner it comes off your balance!
