What a nightmare start to the week. Made a payment of £3 then went and checked my online Mint statement and there's something on there that said my account has been restricted and please call them. Turns out that someone has tried to buy something on the card yesterday and for some reason Mint thought it was dodgy.
It was a payment for £1.78 to a company I had never heard of in America (apparently fraudsters like to try out small transactions first  ).
After racking my brains I figured it couldn't have been something I'd just forgotten about because a) for such a small sum I would never put it on my cc and b) I didn't touch my cc yesterday for anything.
So I have had to cancel the card and a new one should be with me in 7-10 days.
Which has really annoyed me because I do my payments through Natwest and now the card has been cancelled I can't make payments on to it in that way. So I have just gone on the Mint website to set up making payments that way which will have to do for now (the advantage of doing it through natwest is that it leaves my account immediately).
Anyway, enough with the rant. I should be able to pay off the rest of it this saturday (payday) so I can concentrate on my loans :jLBM February 2008. DFD March 2013 19 August 2011Debt at LBM £14,395.48. Debt Now £00 -

Paid £1.66 directly to VIRGIN today and put 80p into loose change jar
Had a scary moment when I went onto Whatsthecost earlier. Lets you see how long it will take you to pay off your debt making only minimum payments. Lets just say I would be drawing my pension! by the time I'd finished. Makes me even more determined to clear my debt and make overpayments to my credit cards.
