  • HAPPY BIRTHDAY GTX. Hope you have a lovely day:beer:

Didn't get chance to update yesterday, but put £1 in pot. Just put another £1.80 ( change from shopping) in for today.
Also just been accepted for Tescos c/c. yes I know another credit card to the collection!! but have got 14 months interest free and have enough on my limit to trfr all the smaller amounts. So gone are M & S c/c, RYANAIR c/c, CAP 1 c/c & NEXT account. All of which had high interest rates!!

This also leaves me to concentrate on overpayments to VIRGIN.

Will go and update my sig.

Hope you're all having a lovely weekend.

  • Paid in 50p today, so my total is £12.37 so far. I picked up a 5p I saw today in TKMAXX, (for the pot), my daughters were appalled at me!! Nowadays, if I see any change on the floor anywhere I'm at it like a shot - it all goes on my "payment a day" pot.:p

Hi again! Good to see everyone still at it!

Am so annoyed and upset with hubby today as he got his phone bill and it was £72.78!!! That's £42.78 more than it should have been!!! I have no idea where I'm going to scrape the money from, but have said he's going to be even more skint on his next wage and he looked at me like I was dirt! He just doesn't seem to appreciate money. He just thinks we should be able to find that 'extra tenner' when we want it, to buy rubbish food/snacks/non-essentials/drink.

Anyway, rant over. Not sure when I can next make a payment, but I'll still check in each day when I visit the forums!

Good luck to all you debt-clearers, keep it up! x

Purplepostings and Frasersmum - i'm right with you! Every week when he puts his football bet on ( ) he talks about buying a Wii or HD tv if he wins. I'm thinking er no, we'll be paying a debt off  why don't they get it!!!

Anyway :D £1 to evil loan and £1 to savings ;)

    Hi Everyone

My first day back this week. Thank you all for the messages.

MIL's funeral is all sorted for next Wednesday and thanks to the OS board I now know what is expected for the funeral tea..

I have just wotked out what my PAD for the week would be and set up bill payments for it to go out on Monday - £54.04, plus £11.28 to the Christmas fund which now stands at £300

I have also set the payments for every day next week. MIL's ethic was cash all the way, so I have set the payments for whilst I cannot be on line.

    Thanks again for the messages.

    All the best
    Gilly
