getting rid of all my unsecured debt in a couple of years instead of 5 minimum is probably the most expensive present i'll get if you add up the interest i'll save (if you count the interest i've saved moving to 0%:T ) and when i move onto the secured stuff the figures are life changing - not something i would have thought through before mse.

I work in a College and the students don't value small change and never pick up any that they drop. My youngest dd (18) is always mortified when she sees me scouring the floors for small change. She calls it 'rubbish' money. I only hope that she can always afford to not need it.
Happy Birthday for yesterday GTX. Hope you had a good day.
£5 for me today. I also need to check the change pot to see how much is in there and I need to get off my a$$ and list some stuff on ebay.

Morning! GTX your post is so true. I really wish i'd been making all these extra payments long before now, but better late than never
The thought of getting to the stage where i can increase payments to my mortgage is so motivating.
£1 to evil loan. £1.96 to Cap 1 as i've had to use it and wanted to round it up!
Going to alter my signature just to show payments to evil loan. Going through one of those dodgy patches where i have to keep using all resources. I've finally had a form from bank about card fraud so should get that back in 2-3 weeks - no rush hey?! Still waiting for dental insurance refund too. Various bits of money are due to me, i just don't know when
Can i ask, what sort of stuff do people sell on ebay? One step at a time0 -
