Morning all, £5.04 to Egg. Not long til I get under the £900 mark on this one...Can't wait.
I've got lots more after this one, tho!
Well done everyone and have a good Saturday.0 -
Another change-hunting day today, all the big usual payments and big extra payments have been paid for the next fortnight, so am trying to think of other ways of finding/making money! Am going for the 'spring-clean-ebay' option this weekend!
Am really wanting to clear my £100 Natwest overdraft next, get it out of the way, just in case they start charging. I only need a basic bank account.
My DFS payments for the sofa will end in April 09 (£61.61/month), so will just let that one run normally.
As for Littlewoods, I'm really hoping to clear this by the New Year and then close the account so am not tempted. I need to save instead, I think I would think more about the things I buy when I'm using my savings!
As for my mum, she's still being great, but am going to up the re-payments as she is currently paying the debt for me to keep me out of trouble!
Have a great weekend everyone! x0 -
I also cancelled that Capital One credit card when it arrived yesterday so I wouldn't be tempted! I think the staff were really surprised someone had cancelled so quick!0

Good Morning Everyone, How are we all?
Today i will make a payment of 50p to my saving account and that will take me up to £11 so far. I don't know what debt im going to be paying off (properly the lowest amount one) but im hoping to save about £80 and then see if i can get a final settlement fee for about £80 as my lowest debt is £100. Is anyone else doing this?
Going to make my payment now.. Hope everyone has a fab day..HUGS to anyone that needs them xx

Morning everyone. It's really yukky, wet and cold here this morning. Just the sort of day that makes you want to stay in bed - if only I could.
£5 transferred across this morning. I need to buy some wallpaper so I've been looking around at what I can sell on ebay that will cover the cost and then I don't need to use any of my savings for it. Before this challenge I would never have given it a second thought. Thank you again Emily  . I hope things are getting better for you.Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts - DFW Nerd 323

Morning everybody, it's flippin cold today, had to put the heating on before I dared to have a shower, but now I'm dressed with extra layers on and thermal long-johns!
I've been putting something in my birdy bank everyday, the total so far is £8.37, I've got a couple of weeks before I make my minimum payment (£20) and I'm gonna try a bit harder, would like to pay in at least £35, so must put a bit more in my tin daily. Trouble is, I've got a savings tin that I can't open and I tend to put the £1 coins in there, and I've also got a "general" change jar, where I try to keep at least £5 in "big" coins, just in case I need a taxi anywhere!
Hope everyone has a nice day.KEEP CALM AND keep taking the tablets :cool2:0 -

Don't know who mentioned they had an overdraft with Natwest? I have one for £1500 and they've just taken £20 charges?? for what? and £28 in interest which took me over my limit so had to take £20 out of my ISA! I rang Natwest to ask if they would lower o/d by £50 a month and they said they couldnt do it but did I want a loan instead? er no I don't the interest rate for this loan was 34% what a cheek!
