 Well, i went online this morning to discover someone has been spending my money. I went through a cashback site at the end of Sept and set up a Ladbrokes acc. Part of the set up is to put your card details in. Anyway, i never use it but have discovered someone has set up 2 additional Ladbroke acc in my name and used my bank card to make deposits and play online poker!

I now need to use my savings which really annoys me, but hopefully i will get my money back at some point so that i can repay it all - i'm not a happy bunny

Will at least transfer £1 to Cap 1. Really want to put money on this so at least i can use it online knowing there is more protection.
One step at a time ;)

So far i have been doing this 8 days and i have only paid £11 total. Not much is it?

Going by your payments at the ratio of payments / number of days, in a year you will have paid £501.88 extra of your debts. Does that sound better? :j Keep going it is worth it.

Today I rang Barclaycard and MINT and received over £100 back as I was in credit on both of them. I am now going to attack the Virgin.

I don't know what debt im going to be paying off (properly the lowest amount one)

Pick the one with the highest interest (if any have interest).

If they are 0%, put the money in a savings account and pay the debt as slow as you can. Just make sure you don't dip into the savings and your savings have a good interest rate. Do not be loyal to your own bank.

I now have a 0% Virgin and a car loan I can do nothing about till I can clear it in full. So I will be putting the money into savings ready for February when the 0% finishes and I need to rejig all the debts.

That's bad news Hopeful1. At least you noticed it really quickly so hopefully it will be sorted quickly.

I had my debit card cloned at the time when I was in denial about my debts so wasn't opening any of the letters from the bank. Fortunately I noticed one day that I seem to have more letters from them than usual so opened one to discover that there were horrendous bank charges. I had to open all of the letters to discover the extent of the fraud. The bank did eventually concede that it was fraudulent activity and I did get everything back but it took an age. So yet another positive thing about PAD!!
