Havent been here for a few days, things have been slightly manic at home what with the alterations and......my NEW job!! YES i got the promotion, started yesterday and am loving it already, apart from the extra wages, i was sent out on a shopping trip yesterday, collected the tesco club card points and the petrol voucher so it looks like there could be some more perks to my job as well!

I have been keeping up the payment a day during all this, still waiting on a cheque for over £100 so when i recieve it and it clears i should have enough to clear the first debt! (just wish i wasnt adding more on with the holiday and new living room :mad: )

I missed a payment yesterday as I wasn't near my computer so I have paid £4 today, £2 each for yesterday and today. My OH has asked me to start the challenge for him as well so I will be doing daily payments to his capital one card

Another £1 paid for me today. However, car insurance renewal due and I don't like to pay monthly (it costs more in the long run) so that's and extra £200 to go on the card soon. :mad:

Not too bad though as it will only take me an extra month to pay it off with this challenge! So new target is for CC to be paid off by end of November. And I have savings in place for Xmas (is it sad that I've already started buying for it?) so wont need to use it for that :j

All in all, even though things keep cropping up that I need to put on my CC, I feel a lot more controlled about my finances now. Thank you so much Emily and everyone else for all the tips you give *sob*

I'm skint today as a client has cancelled so i'm robbing Peter to pay Paul. However, I still need to make a payment so i'm going to round my figure up and pay the grand sum of 7p!!!!!!! Now, I need to go and dig in my coat pockets and raid my children's money boxes to get the 7p! Ooooh actually, I found 2p walking the dog so i've only got find 5p!!:rotfl: xx

Paid £5.24 today off cc and £1.00 to savings. Payday tomorrow so will also be making min payment on the date the statment is issued. Will update tomorrow with how debt is going....
