Thank you Hopeful, for linking me to this challenge. I am a collector of piggy banks :o so I will name them for individual debts and pop something in each day then tip them out every 3 months to pay extra off. :D

    Glad you came over :D

I couldn't be controlled enough to wait 3 months, but i suspect you have more will power than me!

I'm going to bank my change jar tomorrow and add whatever's in it to hubby's orange account. Then i am tackling my Barclays loan which i have decided will be next focus. It's around £7000  but i need to get an accurate balance.

  • Oh my goodness, that's hideous!!!! That's over triple! I do not understand these companies - they reckon they keep increasing the prices because it's costing them more to buy the fuel, yet

    1) They report more and more proifit each period

    2) Their cost has been coming down for a while now

Why the government sit back and let this happen is beyond me........

Well done with the nabbing of the £2 coins though ;)

    Thanks snugglepants
Have calmed down a bit now but still peed off!! Surely they should have noticed my payments weren't enough to cover what we were using each month so why didn't they put it up months ago!!
and OH has snaffled £10 from my purse and now owes me £2!! As long as it's a £2 coin I'll be happy tho lol

Not posted for a couple of days as had a fairly carp end to the weekend

OH's birthday on Sunday and we were out for the day. Got home to message from his ex wife as her car has broken down and she is stuck. Could we have DSS to get him to school etc. No problem as we had already expected this for other reasons.

Whilst on the phone sorting this BIL phoned as OH's Mum critical and hospital not sure if would last the night.

Phoned ex wife back and changed everything. 3 hour drive to hospital. Mum sleeping but very poorly. Spent last two days visiting and now back home for work but dreading the phone ringing. Mum rallying and being a cantakerous old so and so, but still not great.

Well done to everyone posting and sorry for being so down.

    Gilly
