Afternoon All,
Really busy yesterday and today at work, but managed to do my payments for yesterday and today. Usual payments of £1.21 and £1.22. All to come off the credit card. Can't believe how these small items are mounting up.Debt free and Keeping on Track0 -
Good afternoon everyone. I haven't posted in AGES because I have on holiday and a long weekend in recent weeks. Anyhoo, not to worry as I've been keeping up with my payment a day thing by paying chunks before I went away.
However, bad news was that I had to take out about £100 on my CC on holiday when a taxi driver told us the wrong amount (by a long shot) for a journey and I had to pay it off for my friend and me by going to a cash machine . Very very annoying after all the hard work, and my friend still hasn't paid me back so will be sending a snotty email to her very soon.
Annoying as well because my figures are wrong, but I'm keeping my sig updated with the current balance of the account and I should still be able to clear the debt by my October payday as long as all debts are paid and I do a little more on my payment a day challenge.
So, before I went on holiday I paid £10 then the day before I got paid I still had £10 left in the account so that went on it. Plus the normal payment of £150 but that hasn't shown up yet. Paid £1 today towards the challenge and am off to email my friend now.
Anyway, sorry for the long message but it helps to write my frustrations out. Glad everyone else seems to be doing well. I haven't managed to catch up on the thread completely yet so will do that soon.

Well, seems like it's the day to venture back in! I too haven't updated for ages, and I'm pretty much back to square one. After my account got accessed by some naughty people and I had some money taken (which took me over my all ready maxed overdraft
) I've not been able to afford to pay anything in - mess up with my wages etc. but hopefully I'm going to start again the start of October, once I've readjusted everything. I'm desperate to get rid of my OD!
That reminds me, still not had a form through about reclaiming the money back  Must get on to the fraud people.
I promise I'll jump back on the wagon on the 1st - kick me if I don'tI may just start a few other challenges too, to try to get my a$$ in gear!
Well done the rest of you, you're all doing so well! :j:j:j0 -
I've just paid £50 to my barclaycard. Only £100 left now :j I WILL pay that off by the end of the month. October will bring a new challenge for me to pay off and I know exactly what it's going to be. Can't wait !!! I hate paying interest with a passion!!:mad:Initial Debt July 2020 - £6,772.80
