I did my sums :( always depressing. it would take 18.38 every day to pay off the CC in my sig.

I wonder if I could afford that. It would be a completely different approach to my debts.

Right well If I can't do the 18 pound I can pay something. even 3.50 a day would be a start.

can I go on the list please?

    xx

Edited cos I can't add up.

    I have around 240 days left of 0 %

I should pay off 16 pound roughly speaking to get shot of it

that is 480 pounds or so per month. which I don't think I can afford!! I might be able to.

any how I will pay off 10 pounds each day plus the minimum payment once a month and then add on ebay Avon money.

this thread has really got me thinking!!

join the £10 per day challenge!?

    All newcomers added :D - 45 challengers now :j

It looks like Barclaycard are going to pleased with our challenge too - they will be getting back over 4.5k from us - but on the down side they will be losing a lot of customers when we all cancel our cards :p .

Brilliant idea! Ok, I think I'll give it a go - I think I can make it work. I'll check the bank balance every day and any odd pounds/pence over the last £10 on the balance will be transferred to OH HSBC credit card. It stands at around 3.5k and the 0% ends in December so I'd like to clear it before then. Any days when the balance is £xx0.00 I'll pay £5.

Just checked the bank and paid £5.24 to the card. It's a start! Don't know how often I'll post here but I'm going to try and remember to transfer the money every day. Thanks for the idea!

  • Morning,
    First payment made :j , £6.00.
Think this is really motivating, especially as they add interest daily.
