Hi all,
thanks for this fab idea!!
Can I join in too. Going to pay £5 a day to next directory - absolutely no Idea how much I owe (SHAME) but think it's about £600. Smallest debt so it goes first!
I can't promise to post every day - because I'm rubbish at that:o , but I've just made my first payments, biggies todaybecause they were due but small ones £1 per day to VISA, Other VISA & Next directory.
Will your bank/these companies not get  at us for paying such small amounts every day? Sorry if this has been asked already, I've been up half the night and not taking much in now, ready to go back to bed but kids are up:eek: peace shattered

Hi
Welcome to the challenge, you have been added to the list.
I hope that the banks/companies do get annoyed with us. Well, they want their money back, they are just getting it in dribs and drabs.

Morning everyone.
Welcome all newcomers - I have updated the list.
Day 5 - I haven't got any more pound coins at the moment so I have gathered £1 of 20p's. When my 20p's gets to £10, I will bank them and pay this off. For now, they have been stashed in my pot.
Will see if I can get together another pound of 20p's later as I have a mystery shop and might get some in my change.

Thanks Emily, you made me smile
I've just had a thought (and posted it on the I want it board) I am soo bad at saving in piggy banks that I thought I could get a bank with no stopper that I had to break to get out the money and sometimes put my payment a day in that. Does anyone know where I can get one? I have googled it but only saw one with was very small
thanks in advance

Do you mean a terramundi? I've seen them in card shops before and gift shops. You can get some really pretty ones.
Here's the main website that sells them: http://www.shopcreator.com/mall/departmentpage.cfm/Terramundi2/79258/1/1

Emily,
sorry I can't get the hang of this quote thingy but yest that was exactly what I wanted - something nice that I won't break, they hold up to £200 in mixed silver and I want to put in £1 per day so hopefully they'l hold about £300. yeah
thanks again

That's ok - you will probably be able to find a cheaper one than that site though so hunt around. A lot of shops do them now too.

(just press the quote button on someone's post to get that put into a new post that you can write in. The quote button next to the thanks button).

What a great thread Emily, this is something I have been looking at doing with my debts as a pay a monthly amount towards them and really would like to get the small ones cleared but well done for putting it in place and the response you have!
A question I have asked before, if we have negotiated payments with creditors, is it fair to favour somebody elses debt? this is the only thing that has stopped me doing it previously!
Well done again!!!!
