Hi I'd like to join in too although I can't start officially till the 15th as that's when I get paid

I just want to pay off all my debts but think I will concentrate on my bcard first which is about £200-ish. I balance transferred and this was what I couldn't do. I'll probably bank the loose change from my purse once a week.

    Hi All

I have paid 50p each off my Egg and Tesco card today using my internet banking but they won't actually go out until Monday. If I am going to do a payment a day I think I might pay a tiny amount off something else tomorrow (which of course will also only go out on Monday). This feels gooooood!

  • Oooh, how exciting.... I was going to buy a nice cappuccino and sandwich out for lunch today, but realised I wouldn't then be able to pay back my £5 today.

So - took a deep breath, walked past the expensive coffee shop and came home and actually put in what I estimated the cost to be = £6.50!

Very pleased with myself. If it wasn't for this challenge, I would probably just have spent the money....

  • I would love to join this challenge but I don't think I'll be able to keep it up.
    :(

    Good idea though.

Welcome all newcomers - you have been added to the list :D

Didn't find anything else at my boyfriend's so it's just my £1 for today.

  • This is a brilliant Idea!!

I keep panicking about how I am going to pay my cc debt off before the interest free time runs out. If I can work out how much of it I would need to pay off daily (I have a DD for min payment) I could kind of pay it off almost by accident......

    hmmm.

FAB idea though I love it!!!
    Nevertheless she persisted.
  • I did my sums :( always depressing. it would take 18.38 every day to pay off the CC in my sig.

I wonder if I could afford that. It would be a completely different approach to my debts.

Right well If I can't do the 18 pound I can pay something. even 3.50 a day would be a start.

can I go on the list please?

    xx

Edited cos I can't add up.

    I have around 240 days left of 0 %

I should pay off 16 pound roughly speaking to get shot of it

that is 480 pounds or so per month. which I don't think I can afford!! I might be able to.

any how I will pay off 10 pounds each day plus the minimum payment once a month and then add on ebay Avon money.

this thread has really got me thinking!!
    Nevertheless she persisted.

    Can i join in?

Im going to snowflake money from my current account into my (shiney new) savings account with a different bank (i have been moving it within the bank but its too easy to take back)

So everyday i will check my balance and whenever it shows a number that is not a flat £10 (ie if it is £133 then £3 will be transferred)

I've just sent £7.52 over and im going to add any extra money to this challenge too (so my amazon payment and any Quidco money i get will go straight into the account)

Then ill use this to save a lump to take some money off my big credit card bill - this is such a good idea!!!!!
