  • My Amazon payment for some DVD's I sold cleared today. £8 - so off the loan it goes....

I know I won't be able to keep this amount up each day, but I may as well whilst I can.

Even if it's £1 a day, that's still an extra £30-31 a month or £365 a year on top of any minimum payments, so it is definitely worth it if you can find a way....

Morning all, i didn't have much change on me today, so i have done what other posters have recommended and have transfered £2.95 that was sitting in my bank account, into my savings account, i plan somedays to also follow the idea of putting any change that does not round me to the nearest pound (can't afford the nearest £10) into my online savings account.

fabulous idea... im trying to get my credit card within it's limit (£1300, monthly dd of £66 isnt clearing it) and then paid down a bit, so ive just thrown a fiver at it... any spare change each day i'll transfer by internet banking, ie rounding my bank account total down to the nearest pound.

please put me down for Capital One Credit Card.

  • Hmmm. My situations changed again. I had to get an extention to my loan in order for my Dad to pay a tax bill (he'll pay me back in october so not too much damage done). As they gave me a little bit more than what I wanted, I have put £200 into my CC (yesterdays payment).

I've decided not to put the money into the ISA because I love the satisfaction of seeing the amount come off the CC.

Also, paid off £1 again today so my total so far is £202. :j

I've just added another £1 to my payments towards xmas pot, £3 total now, that might buy a crimbo card
