    I think it is fair to say that this is a thread full of sad but proud DFW posters, who get excited about every payment and every reducing balance.

    We've had the lightbulb moment and deserve heaps of praise for the effort we are putting into regaining control of our finances and lives.

    Good on us!! :beer:

    I'm very sad too!!

    I even worked out that if you pay the date in pennies ie £2.01 on the first, £2.02 on the second...In a 31 day month you would pay nearly another £5 towards your debt. The pennies really do count, they can knock months off your DFD!!

    That's £12 off one balance today. Had a late payment charge - 2 minute phone call and Barclaycard reversed it :j

    Also won £10 on the lottery at the weekend so going in the pot for MBNA:j

    Haven't posted for a couple of days but have been paying off like a good girl..Payed £5.00 Friday Saturday Sunday and today.

    Another £2.15 for me today. I'm waiting for money from Amazon and Paypal to transfer across, they do take their time! I'm also waiting for a couple of cheques from Envirofone and musicmagpie. Once the monies hit my account I'm putting them against my A&L debt, I plan on clearing this by next September.
