Oh angelkay i'm sure your friends will love them for 1 because they're so cute and 2 because they're home made0 -
thanks chatty. the latest 2 are for my friend who specifically asked for one each for her kids so i know she will appreciate hers but i have made for another friends 2 boys and i know that she puts a value on things by how much they cost rather than the work involved in making something unique and time effort spent etc. i'm guessing that she would rather i just chucked £10 into a card which is making me think twice about giving them. i like them and it keeps me occupied making them. my husband works away from home for 3 weeks at a time and it fills my eveings when the kids are in bed and keeps my hands busy and away from the biscuit tin lol0

I have 2 to make today and so far not even started them yet lol. Have to do one for school and one for a boy. Only problem with the boy one is I have only got pink socks. Wins in 09 = A vodka cocktail kit thing lol, £150 Amazon voucher.0

All the new monkeys are fab, stripy ones definately seem to have more appeal based on the ones my friends have chose. I'll try to upload a pic of the one ive made for my oh's dad for christmas later, he's a minister so his monkey has a dog collar on and a little felt bible in his hand! If anyone was looking for a reasonably priced sewing machine Aldi had one on sunday for £38. I got one the other day and its great, really simple to use and does a lot more then some of the more expensive ones. And even better my mums offered to pay for it as part of my xmas pressie :jBelly Monkey arrived 19.11.09 :j0

You may walk and you may run
You leave your footprints all around the sun
And every time the storm and the soul wars come
You just keep on walking0 -
