  • Has anyone found a good way of making sock-cats? like one with details instructions online somewhere, as I won't find it easy! thanks.
  • Zoey they definately take over! Each one develops a little personality while your making them and I keep finding a reason why I need to keep each one and end up not giving them away!

  • Well hi all! I was so impressed with all your sock monkeys that i decided to have a go myself. I sat patiently for 3 and a half hours and made a pretty good first attempt. Got up to put the scissors away and my leg had gone dead resulting in me going crashing to the floor and not being able to break my fall as i kept my scissor hand outstretched away from me. The result - I am now on crutches for the next 4 - 6 weeks after tearing the ligaments in my foot which is a nice aubergine colour at the moment :o . On the bright side of things at least i will have an excuse to sit and make a few more :D .

Specsappeal that's awful! I hope your ok. My oh always laughs at me because I get so caught up in doing crafting I always have pins and needles when I stand up and end up doing a silly little jig to wake my legs up whilst trying to show him what I've been working on!

Oh my!! glad your alright. But without this sounding horrid I did have a little titter to myself when I read this, as I was just imagining how really chuffed you were with your 1st monkey and how you probably started to get up so excitedly to show somebody and then !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
Really do hope you feel better soon and I can't wait to see all the new monkeys you'll be making.
