Stardrops your monkies are beautiful. I also would like to know how you do your eyes. Are they a button on top of a button? I can understand why you have got lots of orders!0

Hi Chatty123 & Pennib
Thankyou for your comments, I use a black button on top of a white button for the eyes and I get them from Boyes, but I think Boyes might only be located in North yorkshire but you could look on their website to checkI had to buy a sort of opal coloured button instead of white for this monkey as I had cleaned them out of the white ones and they hadn't had chance to get anymore in :rotfl: They are £1.12 for a card with 4 white buttons on in Boyes which is a bit expensive when you need quite a few but I do like them. The black buttons can be bought seperate at 6p each:D I can see how many packs they have in when I go on Friday and post them to you if you want some. PM me if you are interested:D
Feb GC £80 per week (Well I'm gunna try:whistle:)
Diet starts today(31/12/16)! Only 18lbs to lose:eek:
4/2/16 - 13lbs to lose:D

I love boyes I practically live in there lol, if you look at their habadasry section you can get off cuts of material pretty cheap. It might come in handy when making monkey clothes, I know I will be making some with clothes as I have just made a rain coat type thing for my dd's monkey. Wins in 09 = A vodka cocktail kit thing lol, £150 Amazon voucher.0

Yes I agree with both of you its a fantastic shop, my friend who lives in Manchester always asks me to get things from Boyes for her cos they sell everything you could possible want for crafting, sewing, knitting etc. at not very much money :j . Ive been getting some felt squares for about 50p to make hats and bags for my monkeys. I love looking through there bargain ribbon box i got some lovely ribbons the other day for about 40p for loads.
My brother and sil work there aswell. :T0 -
Hi Star Drops,
You could do a Tarzan Monkey with the fake fur and the pink would make a great Parish Hilton Monkey. Not too sure about the black although I have to get some as I want to do a vicar monkey for my local church. Wins in 09 = A vodka cocktail kit thing lol, £150 Amazon voucher.0 -

thank you for the offer, i really thought they were googly eyes. anyway i am going into town tomor so i will see what they have suitable. if not i will pm you . this boyes shop sounds like a dream.
I have just been asked to do a bride and groom monkey lol. so i am going to town to look for suitable pieces of satin for the bridal dress and the bow tie. anybody an idea of how i would make the tiara. i was thinking it would have to be pipe cleaners but they'll be a bit bulky.
Hmmmmmmmmm Think this will get my (non)creative brain working overtime. at least there's no rush as the wedding is 2 months away which is good as i've lots of orders to do 1st.0 -
