hello everyone, i have enjoyed reading this thread and seeing the monkeys and have been inspired! i am getting a sewing machine next month but eventually couldnt resist trying one and made it by hand. to be honest this is the second - the first went horribly horribly wrong! am quite pleased with finished result, my little boy happy anyway

Hi geordielass I only used it for the hand sewing bits but it was fine. A really good bargain!!!:D:D:D

anyone reckon you could make sock elves ?? I need two elves to do magic elfcapades for Christmas this year and having trouble finding them, wondered if I could make them ??
How would i do the ears ??

You could make the ears pointy instead of round and put an elves hat on the sock monkey.

Thanks lillian,were the arms fiddly because I would imagine they are difficult with them being so small and thin
