i am in the middle of making a sock teddy bear at the moment. just a small one with baby socks but if he looks ok i might make a bigger one.

I think it just depends on how they are stuffed. I know I put more stuffing in mine that others do, but I have never been able to stuff lightly and get a good shape, so I ram mine in until I can't get anymore, that is why my large monkeys take between 200-250gsm of stuffing. I know some of the others only use about 100 gsm so they are individual.
I am sure yours are fine. I think we all see things we like better in other peoples than our own.0 -
they are great gemsmember. how do you do the writing on the hats? is it done by a sewing machine. my sewing machine has loads of settings. i dont know what any of them do!!! lol
i tend to over stuff mine as well. then pull the stuffing out and restuff and over stuff again and then kind of beat them into shape!!! :P the little ones are alot easier than the big ones. although i find different stuffing has different effects. the stuffing i used to use when i first started looked better not over stuffing whilst what i use now i have to.0 -
I use an embroidery machine.0
