Gemsember; that is so clever. Did you make the pattern yourself?

Nuttybabe; Those monkeys are so cute, the little eye patch and hat suit the socks spot on!

Thanks - yes the pattern is my own drawing
  • Evening Ladies, ive posted this question on a different forum, didnt see this one lol. I made my first sock monkey today, i found it fairly easy to sew on machine, but sewing all the bits onto body, i found more fiddly esp his mouth. What stitches do you ladies use, to stitch limbs on. Not sure how to post piccies on here, but he can be seen on my you know what.

    Thanks pennib.

gemsmember - thats a good idea, sounds secure. the keyrings i have made (crochet dragon) came off the keyring.

jinksyjinks - sorry, cant help as i just sew, dont know what stitches i use. But I do go round a few times to make sure everything is secure. Love the mouse though!! :D

this is a fridge magnet I made. The back is a bit dodgy but have worked out how to do the backs now so hopefully the next one will be alot better.

  • They are similiar to the sock babies that I am making. Only managed to make two of them so far as they are quite time consuming.

I posted a picture last week.

I need to alter the face a little bit because it looks like an older child, but am working on that at the moment.

It is a pattern that I have worked out for myself as I will be selling the finished item, so am unable to share - sorry.
