Sock monkeys!

I just finished making up Boo the Halloween sock monkey. My friend saw him and bought him for her friend's birthday which is on halloween.

what size safety eyes do people use and how thick embroidery thread is needed for the mouths? x

emrnchild - for the mouths i use 4 x thread or 2 x a thicker thread. Depends what i have!! The safety eyes i usually use are 15mm but have used a range of different sizes and styles.

I have been so busy! I am trying to make clothes for the Elf sock monkeys but sewing isnt really my thing it seems!! I adapted a jacket pattern to fit and have nearly finished the second one. Got one more to make tomorrow and a dress. Then the hats and shoes!

Sorry I can't they are the customers own socks that she sent me and I don't know where she purchased them.
