I went to B & M today got five pack of gorgeous socks in creams and browns and pink spots, got a ball of exact match of the lighter brown in wool for knitting them scarfs and hats in B & m today so I guess that is what I will be doing tonight knitting scarfts and hats for the five monkeys I have to make!!I am determined to lose weight!:kisses3:

You should look in all sock sections of shops, i normally find some odd pairs that have been reduced. The pink monkey was made from reduced xmas socks in Peacocks! I got 2 lots of 5 pairs from Boots for a pound each and 2 pairs of spiderman socks from Matalan for 63p, just have a look around, i'm sure you'll see some reduced

I use invisible thread for it, it is quite tricky until you get used to it. It's alright unless you're using a massive length of it, then it sort of curls up and stretches and goes awful. I only use it because my stitching is terrible and I don't want it to show through!
