    I have three sock monkeys done, but they have no mouth arms or tails yet but they have hats and scarfs! I must stuff the tails and arms today and sew them on.
    I am determined to lose weight!:kisses3:

  • How and what did you use for the hair?...i think it looks great :)

    Thanks 4 your kind comments;)

    I used double knitting wool,
    cut it into lengths,
    take one length tie a knot at one end
    thread the needle then push the needle through from the inside of the sock toe/head part & pull the wool through,(it is held in place by the knot which is inside the sock)
    repeat about a million times until you have a head of hair!
    Then seperate all the strands of wool to make the 'hair' look thicker!

    Hope that all makes sense,i am not very good a discribing, :rolleyes:

    Fabby, Fabby.....All the monkeys look great, they all look individual. I've nearly finished my 'first' just got to add eyes - ears and of course a smile!:D
