I recently won a prize from a promotion that is sponsored by maltesers, but the prize didn't contain any maltesers, so I sent them a cheeky (but nice) email asking if I could have a packet. Got a nice letter and £2 mars vouchers in the post today :j

so pleased, I just did my weekly shop at Mr T's and thanks to my growing collection of vouchers from compliments and complaints I had £32 taken off the bill (Mr T accepts vouchers regardless of whether or not you have brought the product).

I know I've got more coming in the post too :D

 silly question .... I know but who is Mr T?

Had a free frozen pizza voucher this morning from a compliment :)

Also, complained about a stay at Travelodge Mansfield last week because the toilet was leaking and the staff did nothing about it. After a week I had a reply by email saying they would speak to the manager and investigate yesterday. Today hubby had a very apologetic phonecall and they have refunded the £39 cost of the room :D

  • I complained to London Buses about buses stopping before they are supposed to and everybody being chucked off. It happened twice in a row and I was fuming. I got a pack of 6 super saver tickets so got 6 free rides on the bus, and was also told that when the bus ends it's journey before the last stop you can insist they give you a transfer ticket so you don't pay tiwce! very helpful to know that, as I was swipping my oyster twice, reluctantly after the bus driver told me he didn't care about the previous bus!

I sent an email to Whiskas to ask for money off vouchers, as my cat won't eat anything else, and I'd hate to deny her her fave food just because I'm a bit short of money...
They sent me £2 off my next purchases! :j

    Ohhhhhhhhhh! :p

So can I just check does that mean I can use vouchers even for things I haven't bought and if so is there a limit to how much you in vouchers in a transaction and is it just one company voucher per transaction????

Oh this is so exciting, years ago you could do this in ASDA, but as far as I know they stopped it a few years back

Yup, you can use manufaturers or brand vouchers even if you haven't purchased the item it's for, so long as they sell said item.

You can use one coupon per item bought, so if you buy 10 items (any items, this just means however many things are in your basket) you can only use 10 coupons. does that make sense? took me forever to explain that to hubby earlier :o

No limit on each company's vouchers, I used 5 innocent smoothie £2 vouchers with mine :D
