  • I e-mailed Sacntuary Spa and told them I liked there products and I got two little testers of exfoliator and face mask. Quite pleased!

We booked a B&B in Amsterdam via Easyjet. When we arrived the receptionist said we had to pay 22 euros "tourist tax". We argued that Easyjet hotels are inclusive of all charges, but they made up an excuse about not having an 'arrangement' with the airport (!) and insisted we pay before they'd hand over the key.
Tired after a long journey, we paid up.

Back home, I contacted Easyjet who immediately looked into it.
Yesterday they emailed to apologise, even though it was not their fault, and have credited my bank with £22 (about £5 extra than if they's given me euros).

The B&B were clearly ripping off tourists, who (like us) probably just paid up so that we could get the key to our room.

Hopefully, now that Easyjet are aware of the problem, no more tourists will get ripped off by that particular B&B.
It's nice to be important.....but it's more important to be nice :)

so pleased, I just did my weekly shop at Mr T's and thanks to my growing collection of vouchers from compliments and complaints I had £32 taken off the bill (Mr T accepts vouchers regardless of whether or not you have brought the product).

I know I've got more coming in the post too :D

I recently got into a debate with Haven holidays over the total disappointment we had whilst on their Hafan Y Mor site, letters flew between myself and their head office and resort manager. The best the could offer was to inform them of future holidays we take with them and they will monitor what happens whilst we are on it. The travel agents we booked with said this is a load of tosh and to demand compensation, which i did to be told they have fully explained themselves to me and i will not be receiving anything back in way of compensation, the lady also went on to state she was not willing to enter into an argument with me so i am hoping a trip to citizens advice with copies of all letters will get me somewhere as £539 for a week of disappoinment takes the mick.

we stayed with haven last year and got drop into no fault of our own and had about 600£ worth of stuff stolen when the police came to look at the cameras the sucurity guard was asleep and not doing his shift and the cameras on the site were broken when complaining to the site all they said was o we've had a problem before and blamed local kids they would do nothing!

hate haven for that and now go with park resorts!

Just wondering if anyone has a uk or email address for Coty? I bought a bottle of CKIN2U for a relative and it had leaked all over the inside of the box- the bottle was almost empty inside. It cost £25 but unfortunatley I have lost the receipt so thought i would try to speak to them instead of the shop?
