I sent lush a email asking them if i could try some samples before i buy as some products often make me come out in a rash (truth) and that i did not want to waste my money on something that i may not be able to use, They sent a email back saying ...
Hi
Thank you for your interest in Lush!
At mail order unfortunately we do not send out samples on their own due to
the price of posting, although we are more than happy to add them into you
order if you place one with us.
lol made me laugh as i was asking to try before i buy so that i wouldn't be wasting money lol.
Had no success with green + blacks either...!!
But i did have success with Jo malone after i sent them a email i have recieved a lovely reply back from them telling me that they can offer me a maximum of 2 samples, so hopefully will be recieving these in the post soon...!!
Also recieved my free graze fruit box on tues + also had a oxy 30ml facewash sample through the post.
Things like these make picking up the mail worth it hehe.
Also emailed McDonalds with a genuine complaint about how i was rudely treat from a member of there staff making me look pathetic , after having to stand for such a long period of time whilst 7 months pregnant , being charged wrong then being made out like i was the wrong one for correcting him , + then on top of it all my food was cold.
Still not had a reply does anybody know how long they usually take or should i get back onto them...??
Thanks Guys.:rotfl:Joined June 2009 :rotfl:Freebies recieved - 30ml Oxy sample , Graze fruit box , 2xJo malone fragrance , energy saving kids story book , Nivea mens balm , breast flow bottle , herbal essences s+c sample0 -
I emailed mcdonalds ( a compliment), afew weeks ago and they got back to me in a couple of days. I think its disgusting what they have done and you should get LOTS of compensation.0

I complained to Tesco because my local store wouldn't let me use my clubcard vouchers to 'double up' and buy a childs buggy - said it came under Health & Beauty so didn't qualify for Baby & Toddler 'double up'!! Then on another day when I tried to 'double up' to buy a ladies cardi the "till was broken". Had to pay full price for both items.
Buggy was only cheap so missed out on £5 discount, same for cardi, missed £5 discount (granted, I could still use my clubcard vouchers to 'double up' for something else so no real loss). Tesco offered to send me the £10 as compensation and I replied thanking them and though I would graciously accept I felt they should give an additional £5 to buy my goodwill for the future.
Got £15 - better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick......and they've made sure the store know that a childs buggy DOES come under the 'double up' scheme.0 -

Hi
There customer service is terrible!! I e-mailed with a genuine complaint, the fries were covered in salt and i mean covered!! It really concerned me because a small child would have probably just eaten them.
I said, could they not follow the lead of KFC and not salt the fries. I got a reply saying "you are able to request fries that are not salted" and that was basically it!!!
For me it was more of a health issue, but they obviously don't see a problem!!

The other night, we decided to get a kfc in, but they forgot the poping chicken. There is no email address on there website, does anyone have it?0

There terrible + i find it highly amusing that they tell you that you are able to request the fries with no salt when they cover the whole lot of the batch they cook in salt , with the goverments guidelines these past couple of years on how dangerous high salt intake is + the publicity of how fast food resturants are so bad for your health you would think they would start to do something about it to stop them from getting more bad publicity.
I would have been concerned myself like you said especially when there's a child invovled...!!:rotfl:Joined June 2009 :rotfl:Freebies recieved - 30ml Oxy sample , Graze fruit box , 2xJo malone fragrance , energy saving kids story book , Nivea mens balm , breast flow bottle , herbal essences s+c sample0 -

With regards to KFC, i rang the restaurant i got my food from. I was offered a full bargain bucket replacement plus also my fries they missed out. Outstanding.4 years of entering competitions daily and not a thing won. What a fix.0
