Today I recieved a reply from HAVEN and wanted to ask your opinion on whether or not I should accept it or take it further as they have still not answered any of my queries and I bet that they have still not addressed the issue of the kids club.

Here is a copy of the letter that I recieved.....

    Dear Mrs C****m,

Thank you for your email dated 22 August 2008.

I am sorry to learn that you remain insatisfied with regards to the difficiculties encountered during your stay here at Prmirose Valley Holiday Park. I do feel that my letter to you dauted 4 August 2008 addressed all your concerns adequately, however, in an effort to dispel the poor impression gained on this occasion and as a gesture of goodwill, I have arranged for a full refund of your holidau cost in the amount of £424.00 to be redited back to the card used to make the booking. This is in full and final settlement of the matter and will not be reviewed.

Please allow 7 - 10 working days for this to be processed.

    Yours sincerely

    Billy McPhee
    Customer Care Manager

This is a letter from quite a while ago, but in response to elljay20, I would write back to them and advise them that they need to send their administrative staff on some English writing courses!

I would say that it shows a distinct lack of care about their customers that the letter reads like a first draft (if not a final draft written by a rather dumb nine year old) and is riddled with bad spelling a grammar.

I would say that their failure to complete a simple process like spell checking a letter is indicative of their overall incompetence and lack of care towards their customers!

The poor grammar and spelling is even more shocking given that the letter came from a manager!

By the way, I receive 2 x£2 Colgate Palmolive vouchers yesterday following an e-mail I sent complimenting them about their Soft and Gentle range! Woohoo!

Sent an email to Dentyl Ph complimenting their mouthwash and giving them a product idea. Offered to send me a bottle of mouthwash with a flavour of my choice. Got it today, 250ml bottle. Way to go DDD!

I think that you'll find that the spelling in MY letters to HAVEN were all spelled correctly. The letter from HAVEN however was copied EXACTLY as it was in their letter and therefore the person who said that they really need to use Spellchecker was 100% correct in their assumptions.
    !!!!!! happens!!!:D
