I emailed Thierry Mulger to ask for a sample of Angel perfume. I got sent a few days later a spray sample (decent size to take on hols) and 30ml of shower gel and 30ml of body moisturiser! I was so impressed I went out and bought the full size perfume.

I bought some cans of Diet Vimto from Pounstretcher and one of them had a funny metallic taste to it. I dropped a quite note to the manufaturer on on their website - not moaning but just to say I had a dodgy can. They wrote back asking for batch details and did a local check on quality - this was for just ONE CAN. It turned out that they could find nothing wrong and suggested that the can may have been damaged in transit. But as a thank you for my help and compensation they sent me a case of 24 cans of diet Vimto - The kids were truly grateful as they love the stuff!!! Great customer service from one of the smaller drinks manufacturers - well done to Vimto!

Great day for freebies today!
I have received 3 Starbucks vouchers for free drinks of any size, 3pounds off Muller that I used today, and 4 mini nivea suncream bottles SPF20! I also managed to find the BirdsEye Simply Fish for a refund. It seems very good quality... for free!
I hope to receive some Thierry Mugler, Garnier and Jean Paul Gaultier stuff!!!!

When I emailed Thierry Mugler to ask for a sample of Innocent Rock (which I was genuinely interested in buying but couldnt find it to buy anywhere except on the internet so hadn't smelt it yet) I was told they don't do samples and to join the Angel club if I wanted to be first to hear of the new perfumes

Well I had already filled out my Angel and Innocent Messenger cards which you get inside the perfumes when I bought them to join the clubs, this was about 2 years ago and i've never had anything off them

Years ago I once wrote to Virgin Airlines to ask for an eye mask and weeks later one arrived in the post. There wasn't a letter with it or anything, but I was happy

e mail back from a few companies saying due to costs were not sending out free samples without an order

I emailed Nivea asking them for some samples, any types would have done!
They didn't reply back via email but instead sent me a large envelope in the post containing sachets of 'Irresistiby Smooth Body Lotion','Happy Time Body Lotion','Rich Moisturising Day Cream','Gentle Cleansing Cream Wash','Mild Exfoliating Scrub','Tinted Moisturiser','Light Moistursing Day Cream' and also 'Refreshing Facial Wash Gel'.
( I tried to post a picture but failed!)
These were samples that I could have ordered seperatly and some I already have but it was nice to recieve some doubles!
Nivea are definatly one to try, just drop them a nice email regarding samples and there you go!
I will be looking into some of the samples I was sent for sure!!
