I mentioned to Options that their white choc single serve sachets didn't mix properly (has only happened with a few from the same batch - others have been fine) and they kindly sent me a few money off vouchers. Their customer service is great.Looking forward to the future.0 -
Can I just ask for advice? Basically I bought some sweetcorn today [sainsburys ones], and found a piece of plastic in it. I want to complain about it and still have the can so can easily quote any batch number or whatever, but I just recently made a complaint about some eggs that I bought to which they replied that they'll be sending me a £5 giftcard. I don't usually like complaining alot, but the plastic inside is more serious than the eggs from recently. Eugh, was terrible. I don't know if I should complain though as I don't want them thinking that I'm just after more free vouchers/giftcards.
What do you think I should do?0 -

Thanks. I'll do this tomorrow and see what they say. If nothing is done, I'll write them an email. I don't like thinking that the next sweetcorn I buy might end up having some plastic in it too.0 -
Make sure you don't give it to them without taking pictures first.
I'f sainsburys doesnt do anything, you may want to contact enviromental health.
Without proof, they cant do anything.0 -

Over the last couple of weeks I have tried to get some free samples from the companies mentioned. I have only recieved one £2 voucher from Andrex so I highly recommend just dropping them an email of gratitude, not mentioning vouchers! Thnaks to the creator of the board as I really enjoyed thinking of my favourite brands and writing to them
