  • I received new John Freida Shampoo and Conditioner and vouchers when I queried why the colour shine boost I had been using was making my hair greasy. I had to send the bottle back but they reimbursed my postage costs, and gave me a voucher for another products, plus a lovely letter with these new products hoping they would suit me more.
  • I called stagecoach to complain last month about a bus driver that nearly ran me off the road, I was actually screaming whilst sat in my car as I thought he was going to hit me. It was my right of way (parked cars all along his side of the road) but his bully bus tactics he decided to keep coming too, so I had to mount the kurb to get out of his way.
They just sent me a crappy generic letter to say that it had been dealt with seriously and the driver traced and disciplined.....
I have previously had trouble with stagecoach after a bus tried to squeeze past my car,(2 lanes, I was on the outside lane), he took my wing mirror with him, then tried to drive off until I flagged him down, then screamed at me in the middle of a main road that I was a silly little girl, and us young people should be taught to drive properly!!!!!!
I got my OH to complain (I was really upset) the guy said he would pay privately for ther work to be done to my car as he didnt want to loose his no damages bonus at work!!!!

  • Arriva are a load of (insert various expeltives here). Their drivers let their mates on the night bus for free while the rest of us have to pay £3 and the other night, I waited 2 hours for a day bus, none came and when the first night bus came he aid, "You can either pay or you can fxcking walk" when I tried to use my day pass. They ALWAYS do both these things.

As for Starbucks, I told them to check the CCTV as proof, and was able to name times and what I ordered (not many people order soya cappuccino at 8:30am, I am sure! Well, they can shove everything up their backside, form now on I will avaoid spending my money there; only using free vouchers. I can't really afford it anyway and all I wanted was a genuine apology.
  • After a mix up with Virgin trains which was mainly due to the person I spoke to not speaking very good english and me have a strong scottish accent I complained. I got my money back and have been offered 3 complimentary train tickets. I've just to let them know at least 14 days in advance of my journey where and when I'd like to go :T:T:T

I've written to Tesco today to complain about a tin of rice pudding being off when I opened it last night despite it being well in advance of its date. I enclosed the label too which smelt as bad as the product inside the tin, I'm sure they'll thank me for that :rotfl:

  • Hi,

Sorry if i've posted this in the wrong place or haven't done it right, but I just had a quick question to see if anyone could suggest the best way to go about it.

Basically I had my daughters feet measured in Clarkes and the girl said they were a 5F, I then took her back and got them measured again as the shoes didn't seem right on her and was told she was barely a 4F. I then was pressurised into buying her another new pair which cost me £28.50 with the cleaning stuff they suggested I buy for them. I decided then that the shoes I bought weren't suitable and thought I would be able to get a refund as I had the receipt they were unworn and it was within 28 days as stated at their tills. When I tried to get my money back the shop assistant was very rude and said that they had been worn outside (which they hadn't) and refused to refund my money, another shop assistant then put my cleaning product back on the shelf and when I told her that that was mine and I had the receipt to prove it she accused me of being a thief until her manager came back and said yes it was mine gave it back and asked me to leave the store or security would be called.

I was just wondering if anyone thinks that I should take this further or just leave it. I am a young mum with MS and £28.50 is a lot of money to me and was just trying to do the right thing for my 15 month old daughter.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, sorry if I sould like i've gone on it just really annoyed me today

    Thanks

I had a similar problem with Clarks in the past and even though my daughter had worn the shoes outside they swapped them for a bigger size. After all it was their mistake. If you take your child to have their shoes fitted properly you expect them to fit!

  • Oh i also had a nightmare with Virgin Trains. I went to get an advanced ticket (london to manchester) from the station (would have ordered online but i was there anyway) for getting the train a few weeks in advance. so i ask the man to chek what the cheapest fair i could get was. he just gave me the number ticket price and was rude about it when i said i only wanted a single as he'd gave me a return. He basically refused to change it saying "it's only £1 more" so for sake of my sanity i just paid it.
When i got back to my flat i went online to see if the cheap fares had all gone when as the night before there were severeal still available. getting online i find that theres not only tickets for 1/4 of what i paid but first class for about a third. So i sent them a letter of complaint after about 2 months i got a letter back basically saying that i was lying saying "there is no evidence that these ticket prices were still available" and fobbing me off with a £5 off voucher; considering i was over charged about £35 and the hassle of the matter seems a bit of afob off. I am going to get back to them; I screenshot'd the ticket prices so i have proof so the jokes on them.

sorry this is a bit long

I complained to Macdonalds. We went to local drive through a couple of weeks ago and part of our order was the potato wedge /dippers. We were told to pull onto carpark and wait. After a few mins a young lad gave us our order. I could tell by the weight of the bag it wasnt ours. I called him back and it turned out it was for someone parked in row behind. After a few more minutes the order arrived and we left. My daughter started eating the wedges (barely aired) but discovered that after first 3 or 4 that underneath they were all normal fries. They obviously hadnt cooked any dippers, filled carton with fries and thrown 4 left over dippers on top. I received 2 x £5 vouchers.
