Freebie Successes by Letter / Email - What have you recieved? (merged)

I complained to Walkers after buying a multi pack of crisps 2 of the bags had hardly any crisps in and the seam at the back was open,they sent me £4 vouchers an letter of apology.

I've written to Tesco today to complain about a tin of rice pudding being off when I opened it last night despite it being well in advance of its date. I enclosed the label too which smelt as bad as the product inside the tin, I'm sure they'll thank me for that :rotfl:

I got a reply from Tesco today about the rice pudding just saying there must have been damage to the tin, even a tiny hole would cause it to go off. Anyway they enclosed a money card with £3 on it which isn't bad for a 55p tin of rice pudding! :T

I tried a new haircolour last week (I'm not gray, I just like having funky colours!) and got a L'Oreal Preference in Red 66.6 (no jokes please!) and I was SO impressed with the coverage & feel of my hair afterwards.

I emailed L'Oreal & told them how impressed I was & that I'd never used their colour before but would definitely be using them again - I got a letter on Thursday thanking me with £6 vouchers inside - well impressed!

Sent an email to premier foods about their Fray Bentos pies. I got a letter today and a £5 voucher to use on any brand owned by premier.

I found a 1cm long hair in my chocolate so emailed Hotel Chocolat, who sent me £25 worth of chocolate very nice.

Goodfellas pizza was covered in brown stuff, emailed them got £5 voucher.
emailed Pantene, got £5 voucher

phoned Tesco to ask if they would give me anything free for being a car insurance customer, got £5 paid in my account.

Emailed Boots as their powder exploded on my floor, got £10 voucher

One chocolate missing from a thorntons pack, emailed them they told me to send back the packaging. I ate the rest of the chocs, then they sent me £20 voucher!

I love L'oreal Elvive new shampoo for fine hair that gets greasy quickly. It really is the only shampoo that works on my hair. I wrote to L'oreal and told them how much I likd it and please don't take it off the shelves!!! I also said that the top of the conditioner always comes off. The last 4 that I have bought have all broken!!! I honestly did not expect a reply but I got a lovely letter back with TWO large 400ml shampoo bottles of Loreal Elvive!!! I was genuinly suprised and happy!

i complained to Pataks that a jar of sauce i had bought tasted 'funny'. I got an email back apologising and asking me to reply with the code on the label so they can look into it. I realised the jar had already been recycled so i left it. About a week later i got a letter apologising and a £10 cheque! Was very surprised and impressed

..newbie here, so be kind. Unsure if this is the right board to post but here goes.

My top 3 blags:-

£10 off coupon on anything Gilette, simply by phoning up and saying that the blue strip on the razor peels off after only a few shaves.

£3 off coupon on anything Nivea, I did this by asking why they didn't sell the Hair recharge shampoo in the UK yet sell everywhere else. They then sent a letter apologising & sent me the coupons.

but my biggest & best blag was:-

48 bottles of Miller Genuine Draft plus 2 free tee-shirts for complaining that they didn't sell the bigger value packs in English stores but do in Scottish stores. Took me a while and a few emails & all I was after was a guarentee that they would, didn't recieve a guarantee but recieved the beer for free!:D
