I'm a student so I love a freebie! Having read some of this thread I've realised how easy it is to get a few freebies from companies just by sending them a small email of commendation! I tried it out yesterday and have already had some small success...
Emailed options saying how much I liked their hazelnut hot chocolate, they replied and said they'd send me some samples of their new range this morning :)
Emailed Douwe Egberts this morning commending them on one of their coffee blends, hopefully will receive a reply soon, fingers crossed!
Emailed Muller complaining that their cherry yoghurts were not very cherryish, we'll see what happens with that one :)

I complained about my Cadbury Creme egg as it was all chocolate, no Creme and recieved a £2 voucher in the post. Hopefully they accept it at Poundland where a box of 3 eggs is only £1. 6 eggs for the price of 1!

I've also had great sucess with sample requests recently and have pretty much recieved stuff in the post everyday recently. The best companies I have found so far include L'Occatiane, Monu, Green People and Elemis. I used to subscribe to Glossybox but have been trying to cut down on my spending so there was a sample shaped hole in my life that has now been filled thanks to a few emails.

A box of 6 creme eggs in asda are £2!!!
2012 wins- FB Clean Campaign eyebrow kit, Heinz ketchup Indian Spices, 4x rocky road squares, magners eye-pads, £500 from pepsi, 3x green&black cooking choc bars
WLTW-Lots of Money, Concert Tickets, Holiday/Hotel break, Kitchen Goodies

Let me know how you get on with that :) since my last post I've had my options hot choc samples and a lovely little bag full of samples from l'occitane - they really went overboard! So I'm very pleased with that! Also had samples from elemis and a £5 voucher from garnier!
Still awaiting reply from Muller about a complaint - bit disappointed that I've not had a response yet but I'm hoping they're writing to me instead of replying to my email! Has anyone else written to Muller and had problems hearing back?

I wrote to Sacla to tell them how much I love the Dallagio sauces (bought with coupons few months ago), and they sent me £3 coupons in the post. I thought that was the end of it - but I got an email the other day to say I had won the competition of consumer email of the month so they were sending me a surprise in the post....an italian recipe book arrived yesterday! Wonderful and more than I ever expected! And all their responses have been personalised rather than just a generic template. They have def gained themselves a loyal customer in me!
