I've received more nice emails back than I have samples/vouchers etc. Most have been just thanks for your feedback emails.

I got £3 from Patak's through the post today (for compliment), a nice email with no freebies from Chapstick (for compliment) and a shirty email from Boots (for complaint!). Seems to differ company to company, and then employee to employee. Who does everyone find they get the most success from?

I got a polite email from Greggs for questioning the availability of one of their products

And I got a rather curt email from Kettle Chips for sending a suggestion and a compliment. Wouldn't have killed them for saying "thanks for taking the time to contact us" would it?

I too have had the same probem with the tabs breaking and was wondering if in your email/complaint you included the batch number or barcode as I didnt think to take note of these at the time!

The Nestle, Pataks, Kettle and and Cathedral City are from compliments and the rest are from complaints! Really happy with them and I just wanted to prove it's possible!!!!!!!!!!!

I emailed old el paso about a box of stan d and stuff tacos I bought where all the tacos were broken. Heard absolutely nothing for weeks then a letter popped through the door with a postal order for £5 and a nice letter of apology

I had brilliant service at one of the Krispy kreme kiosk and took all of 2 minutes to type in a compliment onto their website. Received a very polite reply and they sent me a voucher for a free doughnut and any medium drink. yums
