A couple of months ago I sent a compliment email off to Huggies and got £12 worth of vouchers! (£4*3) and a lovely email which was very kind of them.
Also last year I emailed Chapstick explaining that I would be having a party and was wondering if they could send out any vouchers or something along those lines and they sent me out an entire box of cherry chapstick! (the ones you'll see on a shop shelf)
    Very kind people.

I was just wondering as well, recently I had quite a bad experience at Lego Land involving my autistic nephew who is five years old being on a ride and he was trying to climb out of it, we were all shouting and screaming at the operator to stop the ride including everyone around us who was aware of what was going on but the guy was sat there reading his paper and after getting off the ride, very shaken, was infact very rude to us and told us that we needed to control him. Would you say this is even worth complaining over? As I can understand them saying its our fault in a sense but it was the fact of how he was oblivious to the situation. Thanks :)

WOW Lot of people have had a lot of success! I Will Give this a Go.. Need to Complain to a few Companies :rotfl:
  • Wrote to Redbull asking if they can provide anything for my goody bags and recieved a fairly snotty reply back

"Unfortunately we do not contribute to 'goody bags'. Our product Red Bull must be served extremely cold. If a consumer drinks a warm can of Red Bull it could be detrimental to our brand as it is much better chilled.

When people have asked us in the past to supply Red Bull for goody bags they could not guarantee that the Red Bull would be cold when consumed. Furthermore, we do not have any other branded merchandise that would be suitable to be included."

And what do they mean by the last line?

Sounds like they don't want you to reply asking if they have anything else they could supply besides cans! Fair enough if they don't want to give out freebies but the tone of their email sounds quite rude and abrupt, even just a 'thank you for your interest in our brand' would've sounded better from them!

ETA: The Red Bull promo people used to hand out freebie cans around my uni all the time. The cans were always, always warm....! Didn't seem to deter any of the students!

Too right you should complain to them, to an extent yes the staff member is right that its your job to control your child however the ride operator was very rude which is not good customer care and you (along with others nearby) seen something that could of turned out a very serious accident & you all tried to report this to the ride operator who has a duty of care to people using the rides & he was too bothered about his paper not at all interested in the safety of the ride users which is breaking the rules so deffinately report him as it was lucky the child wasn't hurt and next time someone could be and by making a complaint it can maybe save an accident from actually happening.

Hi I took my 5 boys and complained as to much walking and hills, we had one in a wheelchair and 3 aspergers out the 5, my dad has heart problems and I felt should have been a warning on the map or website on how many hills there is even with the train still lots and when we went train wasnt working, we got 8 free tickets for Alton towers as I told them wouldn't go back as not suitable for us
