Swimsink, how did they know where to send everything if you didn't give your address or did they email you vouchers?Trash to Cash 2010 - Jan £74.06, Feb £119.67, Mar £529.23

If they want to send you anything they would say something like "we appreciate you're feedback and to show our appreciation we would like to send you...." and then ask for your address.
But if you give them your address in the email it seems like you're asking for freebies.0 -

Not true ,I have been doing this for years now and I always give my address at the bottom . If they didn't want to send you anything ,then they usually just give a thank you ...... I have been extremely lucky though and have never received just a thank you to date (crossed fingers I don't tempt the fates) I have received surprise packages in the door ,then a week later they mail me telling me what they sent out and hope I enjoy it . This way also cuts down at least another 2/3 pointless mails .
Saying that ...... the old quote pops into mind 'if you don't ask ,you dont get' .....I once prayed to god for a bike, but quickly found out he didnt work that way...so I stole a bike and prayed for his forgiveness .........0 -
I used to think it seemed rude to include my address on the emails when complimenting someone, so I just have it as part of the email now and it goes on every email. I have found it more effective to use snail mail though. What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0

Yeah i've never included my address just randomly on an email, fair enough if it works for people but i personally would feel really cheeky! I know if i was the person receiving the email i would read it in that sense, but thats just me! A lot of companies have an email web form on there website and you have to include your address and many others just request your address in their reply
EDIT: & yeah FarzRocks i've been the same to a certain extent - the majority have given freebies and vouchers hardly any just a thank you which is nice too. I haven't received any printable vouchers, just ones in the post - which is good as I don't have a printer.0 -

Be honest - if you love a product, let them know! Afterall whats the point in freebies of a product you never liked in the first place?
Especially be honest when complaining... you have to think that there are people's jobs at stake if you lie for the sake of a discount/voucher/freebies!0 -
what would be the best way to go about complaining or enquiring to a company, because there are 2 diffrent comapnys i would like to enquire about their products*I Love My Stash*Pedro's is getting so big he has his own pen0
