I'm not sure if i'm allowed to post this here, so I apologize in advance if i'm not, but has anybody else ever done this?

Out of boredom a week or so ago I set myself a challenge to see how many freebies I could get in a month without asking for any... like I said a WEEK ago - and have already received approx £100 in freebies and coupons? This seems mad to me! Not that i'm complaining! But surely other people must have done this before?
  • what companies did you compliment !
    Merry Christmas MSE!

Just to clarify - they are all products I actually use and buy and was giving genuine compliments and feedback. And the two complaints were genuine ones, velco tabs ripping off huggies nappies and terrible service in pizza hut. Honesty seems to get you a long way!
  • Just out of interest, did you write 'proper' letters or emails? Every time I've complimented/complained I've done so by email, and therefore get the responses back as email too. Perhaps that's where I've been going wrong....

Little hint Zebra ,always put your address down the bottom of the email (like a letter head) . I do this often (compliments or just an inquiry to a certain something) and the stuff I have gotten for a few simple lines is amazing!! From full facial care kits to full sized bags of coffee and tea's , even got the odd candle and bath set too , Iv got a bathroom full of goodies from companies that dont send out just a single sachet ....... but bags of them ,or even full sized products :)

I not only compliment on the flavour/taste/smell/texture ,but I also do so on the packaging ,where I bought it from ,and most importantly - why I bought it in the first place. Being in this sort of industry myself ,I know how badly companies crave this sort of feedback . And I always purchase the product after use and if I liked it .
I once prayed to god for a bike, but quickly found out he didnt work that way...so I stole a bike and prayed for his forgiveness .........
