Freebie Successes by Letter / Email - What have you recieved? (merged)

I emailed Cadbury at the weekend complaining about a chocolate bar and offering to return the packaging. I received an email yesterday (Tuesday) to say that it had been now been passed onto the correct department and I should hear shortly. Today I received a really lovely letter apologising and enclosing a £4.50 voucher for any Cadbury products!

I would do it like a letter, your address first, top right corner then the letter underneath...

i complained to birds eye as i had a piece of pallet in a burger they sent me £45 vouchers

I re-discovered this thread recently and decided to give it another go! In the post today I received:

£2 Colgate-Palmolive voucher for a compliment
£6 (3x £2) VO5/Tresemme/Alberto Balsam/Andrew Collinge Vouchers for complimenting VO5's hairspray, which I love
£3 Quorn vouchers for complimenting their products
A voucher for a free pack of Cathedral City cheese for a compliment
£2 (2x £1) Walkers vouchers for a complaint

Also promised a Scholl foot file and moisturiser for asking for samples.

It's definitely worth giving credit where credit is due!

£13 in coupons from Mars Chocolates after a geuine complaint about a tub of Celebrations for Christmas; took them a while!

Letter from Comfort advising that they don't send samples / money-off coupons unless it's for a specific promotion.
