Hi *Me* - I am also due in February. I emailed Boots complimenting them on their baby club and they sent me a free Eye Palette worth approx £8. I received a £2 voucher from Johnsons and Huggies just for asking for samples (because there is so much choice out there) and I received about £6 worth of vouchers from Little Dish. Very happy :-)Addicted to MSE0

Got some Jo Malone samples today (Just asked them if I could try a few!)
Got £3 vouchers from Britvic after I had a bottle of Pepsi that was completely flat when I opened it.
Got £7 (!!!) voucher from Proctor and Gamble after complaining that every single one of their Herbal Essences products leave my hair feeling greasy and suggesting they could make a lighter conditioner. Did not expect such so much from them for that!0 -
My Dad bought a magazine from 1953 the other week and while flicking through it I found an advert for Weetabix with a coupon to cut out and send back for a free sample and booklet. I photocopied it and sent it with a covering letter asking if the offer was still valid. Luckily it seems they had a sense of humour as today I received a jokey worded thank you letter, a £1 voucher and a photocopy of a Weetabix cookery booklet from the era! :rotfl:0

Hi guys, I registered with the forum just to post in here!
After reading loads of success stories, I emailed a few companies myself.
Red Bull (email reply but no freebies)
Starbucks (email reply but no freebies)
Andrex (£2 voucher for Andrex, Kleenex etc)
Quorn (3 x £1 vouchers)
Wetherspoons (email reply but no freebies)
Ben & Jerry's (email reply but no freebies)
Durex (full size bottle of the massage oil, plus cheque for £5 as compensation)
All but Durex, I complimented them on their products/services and slipped in a cheeky request for vouchers/samples at the end. Durex, I half-complained about their 2-in-1 massage oil that just dried up as soon as it went on skin, and asked if they could send another sample to see if it was just that batch or whether it's the product.
I have yet to hear back but I'll post up whether they're successful or now.0 -

Lmao. Thats pretty cool.Hi guys, I registered with the forum just to post in here!
After reading loads of success stories, I emailed a few companies myself.
Red Bull (nothing)
Starbucks (might send a voucher)
Andrex (£2 voucher, possibly a sample of wet wipes and voucher for a free pack of the full thing)
Quorn (3x£1 vouchers)
Wetherspoons (voucher for money off at their restaurant OR something free when you spend x amount)
Ben & Jerry's (nothing)
Durex (I'd be surprised if you get anything)
Iv commented on what I think the results will be, just for fun and/or on my past experience with them.Thought for the day: each generation of mankind tends to hug the illusion of having reached the culmination of human achievement. Yet, as we scoff at our groping ancestors, so our descendants will surely scoff at us.

Just noticed that Ben & Jerry's have the following comment on their website: "Lately we’ve been inundated with requests for sponsorship, ice cream donations and raffle prizes. Whilst we hope your event goes swimmingly, we can’t give you any gifts."Addicted to MSE0 -
