  • McCoys crisps are always a good one. Post your empty packet back saying you didn't like them, or there was no flavour (it's freepost as well). I've done this before and received £3 vouchers

It's not a very nice thing to do if it's not true. Just be honest. Ask for samples or freebies. Honesty goes a long way sometimes. :)

  • Hello,

I have just written a very polite email of complaint to Starbucks after finding tiny splinters of an unknown substance (wood i imagine) in the bottom of my already drunk americano. in the last mouthful i felt some solids go down and so am not happy with that. i would have complained to the management at the time, but the trouble was that not only had i drunk the beverage in question (having discovered the splinters at the bottom of the mug and in the final half inch of liquid) but the splinters were disintegrating from being immersed for so long. i managed to fish one out of the mug bit it broke apart in my hand! :( I had no evidence of the event!

Hopefully i'll receive some feedback soon. I seem to be fine, but it made me feel pretty sick, especially knowing that i had already drunk the whole thing.
