  • I got £4 in vouchers from Mr Kipling for complimenting them on their pies, free samples from Nivea, a packet of metalic pens from berol all from compliments. Also some free Mac mascara and eyeliner as I had bought a birthday present from a shop on ebay and it didnt arrive so they resent and put in a Mac Hello Kitty set as an apology.

They are all going to go for presents, I am ill at the moment so on benefits so cant afford anything at the moment so gonna send as many compliments as I can and make hampers from what I get.

I am waiting to hear back from McDonalds over me telling them my order 4 times and them still getting it wrong and burning it, some foxes biscuits which were burnt and numerous other companies that I complimented. Some of the emails you get back from compliments are lovely - its worth sending them just for the feel good feeling you get when they are delighted, particularly when its a small company.

  • I'm going to try some pen companies now:D
  • I complained a while ago to Wilkinsons, their maintenance spray which they say is suitable for use with bikes caused a problem with mine increasing the wear and tear on the cogs, and I also complained that they had not answered a previous complaint. Got vouchers worth £20 back in the post which I used in the Christmas sales!!

  • I have just received a box of goodies from Lush, it was a genuine complaint. Lovely emails and a really good company....it has made m,e like them even more
  • The other day I attempted to get one of those free vouchers for a bar of Milka from their website. The problem was that I was using Google Chrome, which was incompatible with the software used on the site to print vouchers, and when I asked to have the voucher sent to be via email the website crashed.

Anyway, long story short, I contacted Milka about their website's failings and today recieved a £2 voucher for any Kraft product. My first complaining email, and my first success!
  • Congrats alf fly:beer:!
I found £2 mars chocolate vouchers that I received but haven't used them. A nice surprise for me:)
  • Well last night I got a very nice phone call from Harvesters in response to my email last monday. I had a very long chat with the branch manager and he was very apologetic about the bad experience we had. He said he has spoken to the member of staff who was responsable for cooking the food that day to make sure it doesnt happen again. He is sending me a £25 voucher to use whenever I like at whatever harvesters I like. I am really pleased with this because the meal was truly awful and a waste of our money so it will be nice to give them another chance without spending anymore of my money.

I also phoned johnsons baby the other day because I used the bedtime bath in my bath (luckily my son didnt use it) and I imediatly came out in a rash and had a burning sensation. The lady on the phone was very helpful and is sending a bag for me to send the product of for testing, she is also sending out some baby bath, baby shampoo and baby wipes!

    Very pleased!

Good luck everyone and Thank you to all posters xx

Nyssa I emailed them and recieved an email back within a week or so, and then a lovely woman rang me up and apologised and took my details and more info about my visit. And then a few days later i recieved a £10 gift card, I dont know if this is standard, but I was very happy with it as I wasn't even looking for anything, just wanted to tell them! HTH xx

I had a bad experience with pizza hut delivery, they contacted us the next day then we got a 20 pound giftcard, which is great as we only spent 15 pound first of all. :j
Hoping the comping fairy is nice this month and the postman comes.
