Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
I emailed fisher price regarding a damaged part from a toy at christmas, i did fib a bit and neglect to tell them it was damaged by the Oh's mums dog about 2 mins after we got into her house!!

They sent the part out in the post and got it within a couple days, i emailed then back to say a huge thank you :) I probably could have told the truth and got away with it due to it being a christmas gift.
would love to win an ipad!

Anyone know whether it's worth complaining about this?

I buy a lot of clothes from the designers at Debenhams, and they're usually very good quality and last long. I bought one top though back in early November for a posh do in November - in total it's been worn twice.

I went to hang it in the wardrobe today and noticed the seam had come undone partly - there's not a hole but it's revealed a frayed edge which was obviously tucked inside. I'd usually just sew up a thing like this myself but due to the fabric type I can't really do it this time.

I'm not being fussy, I'm genuinely disappointed about the quality of it - it's the sort of thing I'd expect from Primark not from Debenhams.

Anyone had any of experience of complaining to a clothes shop because of a similar reason?

Or should I not bother wasting my time?
    2009 Wins = £833
    2010 Wins = £6,597
    2011 Wins = £7,083

    £2,012 in 2012 = £450/£2,012
    20 in 2012 = 4/20

I think you should send them an email or something. If you paid for it it should be usable.
    Good luck.
As it was my birthday yesterday, I emailed a company about a week ago (I'm not going to say who, so they don't get inundated) and asked if they could send my twin something, as it would be nice for him. They were very nice indeed and sent me and him an apron that you can't buy in the shops:beer:He was very pleased with it btw.

I emailed Mcain, Ready Brek & Fabulous Bakin Boys and I got 2 nice emails back from Ready Brek & Bakin Boys and a voucher promise from Mcain.

About to email No. 7 regarding a product I sampled at a store that caused extreme irritation.

Thanks for your reply cooldude, I decided to write a letter and attach a photo of the imperfection so they can see for themselves - we shall see what happens!

Well done on the aprons - fab freebie!

And McCains sent my £2 vouchers just for complimenting them too!

  • Wrote to Marlow Foods..makers of Quorn...Ive been vegetarian since birth...Because my guy has been told to reduce his cholesterol and I wrote to compliment them their low fat products...

They sent me a lovely letter and some £1 off vouchers to spend...Which is great because Iceland are doing bags of Quorn mince and chunks at £1 each at the moment...

  • I emailed Walkers Shortbread on Thursday about the fact that 2 biscuits were missing from the box when I had just opened them.

Got a lovely emailing apologising about this and today I received 3 different boxes of shortbread. Very impressed.
