Without meaning to sound bad, writing mostly in caps appears rude, so you may want to change your post. HTH

Contacted the makers (Northern Foods) and judging by the letter they sent back I don't think I'm the only one to complain. They also enclosed a £5 voucher which was very welcome!
My mum had exactly the same problem a while ago. She wrote to complain and received a £5 voucher too.0 -

About a month after getting the first voucher I had a letter with another one! Seems they couldn't remember who they'd already replied to but I'm not complaining about that.0

I asked a company for plasters>_<(I was trying to get anything and everything free):o
and they sent me out 2 boxes of plasters, and in another envelope, some vouchers. Bingo:j0 -
I wrote to grey goose vodka beck in august last year for a suppliers list as it was my brothers fave drink but i was heavily pregnant and struggling to get out and hunt it down and he was due back from afganistan in a few weeks and several of his regimant had just been killed and it would be great to see his face smiling when i show him a bottle. A few weeks later i recieved a parcel in the post containg 1 full size bottle of grey goose vodka and some merchandise (a grey goose glass and cocktail shaker) plus a very nice reply letter. I wrote back to them including a picture of my brother when he recieved his bottle. A fab company and definately worth paying £35 for a 70cl bottle of vodka.:TIs thankful to those who have shared their :T
:T fortune with those less fortunate :T
:T than themselves - you know who you are!:T0 -
Hi, I'm new to this site. Well to the forum anyway.
But I've been trying to read back all 56 pages on this topic, noticed someone wrote to a games company and got free stuff sent out to them. I've always wondered if this would work with major music company's as well as other stuff like film & games.
I, like so many spend 100's- 1000's of pounds a year to buy cds,dvds,games.... So has anyone had any luck with this issues. Or is it a big waste of time?
Thanks0 -
Another thing while i'm here.
Is it better to ask for a freebie when writing to a company or is it better to write a compliment and leave it up to them to decide if or what to send?
What has been the best results for you guys?0 -

Depending on succseses on this thread, I sometimes ask for a freebie, or, if people havn't had as uch luck, I'l compliement, and see where that gets me. You might aswell try the music companies, as the worst they can say is no;)

EDIT: I'm getting a sample of super sticky sticky notes:j0 -
I emailed McCain's after seeing on their website that they were bringing back potato balls. I was genuinely excited and told them so. They send me £3 MOC in the post and a lovely letter. :j0
