  • over the past few years, i have taken my sisters advice and complained when i wasnt happy, and then decided to congratulate companies via email wheni was very pleased with a product, so far i have received.

huggies and pampers vouchers. which i am glad i no longer need, sick of crystal spillage!
    procter and gamble, £5 voucher.
    simple £8 voucher
lush £25 free box of items.
hotel chocolate £25 free box last xmas.
    mars/dolmio £5 voucher
    pizza hut £5 voucher.
    sainsburys £10 voucher.

thats all i can remember, most for telling them how i experienced there products, in great detail.
  • I've just fired off some emails to a few companies, so fingers crossed.
Has anyone else had any succsesses recently?
  • Thanks for this. But when you sent them your email, did you include your adress? I have no idea how i should set the email out? any clues? THANK YOU.

Hi Freebieteen, welcome to the forums. We hope you stay a while. I usualy set out my emails (text in red needs to be edited accordingly) like this:
    Dear Company,
I am very pleased with X Product but I am intested in trying Y Product. Would this be possible? I have been using/consuming your products for quite a while, and have never been disapointed with your products and services. Thanks in advance
    Jack

It is better to remain truethful, and never complain unless what you say is true. If they want to send you some stuff, they will ask for it in another email, just send your address and say thanks:)

It would help if you quoted the orriginal message, else no-one will know what you are talking about, and you may look a bit mad:p

EDIT: It looks like you have clicked quote on the wrong post by mistake. Was it one of these?:

    Hi freebieteen, it's not a problem:cool:

As amandalovesbargains has said, just tell companies what you thought of their products, (all truethful though ;))how they could improve it, and just keep polite.:)
Good luck with emailing, and be sure to tell us what you've got:)

Do you think I would get anything if I complained to New look about some of their staff not being respectful to customers?

I was in New Look the other day and seen the 20% off voucher so I picked one up without knowing you had to purchase something. The worker started arguing like she knew best. I was appalled by her behaviour not by the fact she didn't give me the voucher.

you never had to buy anything, so that was a lie. that women was meant to be providing you wiv a service, not arguing wiv you. HOW DARE SHE:mad:? SEND ONE LONG EMAIL. ADD THAT YOU FEEL AS IF YOU SHOULD BE COMPENSATED FOR LOSING OUT ON 20% OFF AND FOR HAVING TO PUT UP WITH SUCH POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE[ thats what my mum would say.when the tesco man opened up her tv arial, she said summit like that] Hope it goes well.
