Sorry I dont know too much about nursery costs although we are on Working Tax Credit so I am familiar with the Tax Credit Office. Have you actually explained the problem to the Nursery because from what I have read you are only 2 weeks behind and I assume the costs will be backdated when the Tax Office eventually do their calculations. I know its a bit embarrassing but I would have thought they would have the childs welfare in mind and give you another week or so to sort it.2008£3002009£13002010£15002011£41952012£21942013£1494

What a suprise.
Nothing done at all. Been told to 5-10 working days is a estimate and could take longer.
I am sorry if I offend anyone here.
But who do I complain to about these clowns now. Comin on close to 3 weeks since i made my change. MP seems to of gone quiet
Cheers0 -
I dont see that you can do much more next time you call really plead poverty its embarassing i know but what more can you do? follow up with your MP with a quick email they might have assumed things are OK because your not continuing to complain.
Please do write a letter to your nursery and apologize then explain and assure them that you will pay the fees explain the whole situation including that you are phoning daily and involving your MP, by telling them and keeping them informed you will be less likely to lose the nursery place for your child. When using the housing forum please use the sticky threads for valuable information.0 -
Unfortunately there is not a lot the advisers can do on the helpline as it seems to be a technical error. It has been escalated to TCO "head office" to deal with.
Pam17 gave some advice regarding a hardship payment.
Go to your local EC as stated.
If you wish to make a complaint you can write to:
Complaints Manager, Tax Credit Office, PO Box 145, Preston, PR1 0SB
Tell TCO all you can about your complaint, including:- what went wrong
- when it happened
- who you dealt with
- full name and address
- National Insurance number
- telephone number or email address
