    Hi everyone,

    I also tried last week Mobypark parking at the Marriott hotel and for sure it's very convenient and fully safe, the access is by Licence plate reader and cheaper than others I used to use

    @julie in fact it's a good deal !
  • Just returned from hols in Spain 2 weeks ago . I left my car at the APH car park managed by "I Love Meet and Greet Ltd". When we to picked up our car I discovered a huge scuff on the R mirror which will require repainting the whole mirror . I send them a formal complaint and asked to pay for the damage they caused. They keep cars really compacted on the small area approx 5cm from each other.... After 2 weeks they sent me photographs suggesting that the car was scuffed before we left it in their parking ( they did the photos obviously after they damaged it... ) I use the car every day and open the R door several times daily, I would have noticed the damage if it was done prior we left the car with them . The people from I LOVE MEET AND GREET Ltd are simple crooks. They will damage your car and refuse to pay for it . STAY AWAY !

    I can fly either from Gatwick or Luton, and will be away for 3 days. Is it a safe assumption that Luton is likely to be cheaper to park at than Gatwick? I know it depends on the exact deal you can get hold of, but I'm looking for broad-brush guidance to focus on one or the other.

    Hi all,

    If you have a blue badge then Purple Parking will give you a free upgrade from Long stay parking to "Meet and Greet", you just need to send them a copy of your blue badge - I scanned it and sent it by e mail,

    Hope it helps someone:money:

  • I have just spent an hour using the links supplied to try to book Meet & Greet (M&G) Parking at Gatwick, as we have 2 young children, and are going away in a few weeks. Some of the recommended consolidators are listed as 'Airport Approved'. however, Andy at BAA tells me that SkyParks and Holiday Extras are approved, but, e.g. 'Eco Park' are not- despite both web agents saying the opposite! Last year, we used RS09 at Gatwick, and thought they were ok. Until we saw the BBC Watchdog programme! There are building works at Gatwick, and some of the M&G have a 7 minute walk to the terminal. How do we get a reputable M&G agent? Google feedback for these M&G is very different from the consolidators' sites.

    allow complete strangers to take your car for a week or fortnight! You are asking for trouble. Use the NCP car park on site.

    I want to give everyone a warning regarding my experience with Looking4Parking.com

    When you book their services you are supplied with a mobile number to phone when you are 20 minutes from the airport and an emergency number to phone should you have any difficulties. This all seemed fine until I tried to phone at 4am in the morning on route to the airport and was unable to get through. I continued trying for the next hour but was unable to get through on either number and in the end had to park in the airports long stay car park at a cost of £270 as I had no other means of contacting the company at this time of day

    I have contacted their customer service for an explanation of what went wrong and to seek compensation as I am now £270 out of pocket. I will let you know what response I receive.
  • They have gotten onto the cheapest buy tables but, having booked, you then have to pay extra for the bus when you get to the parking site. Er, I thought I had originally paid for park AND RIDE??
  • Update on previous message where I booked the 'meet and greet' service and arrived at the airport and was unable to get through on any of their phone numbers.

    I contacted their customer service on my return from holiday but found they don't seem to care about their appalling service which makes me think my experience with this company isn't unusual. Rather than apologising they are trying to blame me for not giving them long enough to answer the phone!!

    What is even more interesting is that I posted a negative review on trustpilot and rather than just posting a reply they seem to be determined to try and get my review removed. I have had to edit my review twice. This makes me wonder how many other negative reviews they manage to get removed from review sites. This firm is definitely not to be trusted
