Even with an LHA of £115, you do not qualify for any assistance on an income of £15,780.
You must have been entering the wrong figures into entitledto.Gone ... or have I?0 -

So helpful on this site
You do want people to pay because you dont want to pay all your rent and Council Tax.
This site is very helpful when the questions are sensible. In anycase you have had your answer already.0 -
Have been reading these with interest. My husband was working in a warehouse earning £10,000 a year and I was on Incapacity benefit of around £4,000 a year. We couldn't claim Housing or Council tax benefit and had to support us and 2 kids on this. £13,000 for a single person is good money.0

Maybe you think it is good money but when bills and rent is so expensive it doesnt leave you alot for the important things like food. No i dont go out either.
All i wanted was a little help im not asking them to pay my full rent or tax.0 -
Just out of interest how much are your rent and bills, it may seem expensive to you but many families end the month with only a few quid in the bank, if that. And you get more than they do.0

But there are people who survive on a lot less who don't get any help. You need to draw up a list of all of your expenditures and see what you can cut back on.
Instead of thinking about what you can't do e.g, getting a lodger etc, think about what you can do.

You still haven't told us how much your rent is?
I can't find anywhere in the Midlands where the LHA is so high (though I obviously haven't looked through them all) - which authority do you come under?Gone ... or have I?0
